TIME OFF IN ITALY

TIME OFF IN ITALY
(to differentiate itself from other titles)

XD

This year on Sunday 21st March the students of Heart of Mary School visited Italy. The first day, Sunday, we left Blanes at seven o'clock and about sixteen hours later we arrived at Pisa, the truth is it was a beautiful place, it was incredible!

Later, after eating at a seedy bar, we left for Luca. Luca, a beautiful and small walled city, wet by a quiet rain which gave a special magic.

The second day we visited Florence, a beautiful city but not as much as I expected. Talking about the architectural structures and other structural aspects of the city, it seemed me fantastic, but the people took away the beauty of the city, with the presence of street markets, street vendors and the general antipathy. In Florence we visited the Piazza del Dumo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Fiore, the Palace Vecchio and the Boboli Gardens next to the Pitti Palace (that also we visited).

The third day we also visited Florence more detailed.

The fourth day we visited Siena and San Gimignano, two cities with medieval features and similar characteristics. In these two sites the teachers gave us more freedom, and we can visit it with our own feet, it was grateful.

The fifth and last day, we returned to Florence. At first, we walked with the teachers, but they left us the last two hours to enjoy this magnificent city.

Once we met again, we left for Blanes, with good memories that we keep forever in our hearts.

I've decided to post you a comment because I don't want the duck die.
Why do you say that you expected a more beautiful city of Florence? I think it's magnific! The art is in everything you can see. But I'm agree with you that the shoppers there were very anthipatic!
